Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026 Command IT (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Command IT website (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at https://www.commandit.co.nz

Information Collection And Use

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) may include, but is not limited to:

Name
Company
Email address
Telephone number
Number of users

Forms On Our Website

When you send a form on our website (a contact form, your IT Health Check report or results, or a Credit Account Application), we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, this can include your name, email address, phone number and message, your IT Health Check answers and, for credit applications, your business details and addresses, your business, IT and accounts contacts, your trade references, and the name and position of the person accepting our terms.

We use these details to reply to you, to send you your IT Health Check report, and to assess and set up your credit account. Every form asks you to agree to this before it is sent.

If you give us someone else’s details, such as a trade reference, please make sure they know you are sharing them with us.

How Long We Keep Form Details

Our website keeps a copy of every form sent through it for 30 days, so we can refer back to it, for example if an email doesn’t arrive. After 30 days the copy is deleted automatically. Contact forms and the IT Health Check results you send us are also emailed to our team, and credit applications are added to the system we use to manage our customers. Those copies are kept for as long as we need them to look after your enquiry or account.

Where Form Details Are Stored

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also stores the 30-day copies. Emails from our website are sent by SendGrid, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by people rather than automated spam. Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand.

Seeing And Correcting Your Information

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete the copy our website keeps before the 30 days are up. To ask, email us at help@commandit.co.nz.

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

We use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
